When playing roulette, what separates the professionals from the rest is a good strategy. Bias wheel players like to pick certain numbers that are more likely to show up, based on the wear and tear of the wheel. Sometimes numbers are likely to show up more often than others. And bias wheel players occasionally come along that really know how to profit off of roulette. For the average player there are a few things you can do to improve your results at playing roulette.
You can apply a double up system such as the martingale. Although the martingale is not efficient in the long-term, roulette strategies that are efficient in the long-term, are tough to come by. Sometimes a reverse doubling up tactic can be used. You can bet heavy at first, then decrease your bets gradually until you lose, then repeat the process.
Now before I talk about my roulette strategy for playing European roulette, I would first like to give you some roulette tips for playing conservatively.
If you double your initial bankroll, cash out.
When playing to colors; If you like betting on colors, first determine whether the dealer is rolling strings of one color or not. And if the dealer is rolling strings of one color, always bet on the last color rolled. If the dealer is spinning alternating colors, always bet on the opposite color rolled. This is an important strategy for consistently winning when playing to colors with a doubling up system in play. Playing to colors is fun, and easy. When you have a higher range of tables to choose from, follow these tips for playing on colors, and you will really improve your results when playing roulette.
Another tip, never risk more than you can afford to lose. If you have a high bankroll, it does you no good if you aren’t planning on doubling up with it.
The Higher the bankroll the better. If you can double up very high, then you can really expect to make some short-term gains, before losing a hefty sum.
Having a large selection of tables to choose from is beneficial. You can really pick out a table where the dealer is rolling strings of colors, or alternating colors.
Those are just a few good tips, and a good colors strategy you can implement. Knowing the layout of the wheel can also help when picking number to bet on, whether playing American roulette or European roulette. European roulette has much better odds. If you are playing European roulette you will probably get more playtime for your money. On a European wheel there are an odd number of numbers on the wheel. On the American wheel there is an even number of numbers on the wheel, this is why this colors strategy is more effective for an American wheel. If you are going to Atlantic city and want to make a quick buck off of the colors, implement this color strategy you have read above. Your results may be better than you think. For the American wheel, consider the double zero as a black number, and consider the zero as a red number, and this will also improve your color betting results. Make some money real fast of the colors, and if you can double up real high then you have a better chance of doubling your bankroll.
Oh and another good tip: when the dealer leaves the table, you leave the table. It never hurts to ask how long a dealer has been at the table. If there is a mighty big string of reds, it is important to know that it was that dealer who rolled them.
If you are from America, go make bank off of colors! =)
