Have you heard of lotto wheeling systems? Lotto wheeling systems are designed to, supposedly, increase your odds of winning the jackpot by using various combinations of a certain set of numbers. Does this really work? Can it really help you win? This article examines these questions.

First of all, you should understand what a lottery wheel is. Let’s say that, for a given lottery, you must choose six numbers. Instead, you would choose more, say ten, and wheel those numbers. That is, you would use all ten numbers and combine them into different groups of six. This is supposed to increase your odds of winning.

Do lotto wheeling systems actually increase your odds of winning? Technically, they do, but not for the reasons that you may think. The only reason that it increases your odds of winning is that it causes you to buy more tickets – That’s it!

Let’s consider an example and say that you play a 6/49 type of game. If you buy just one ticket for a 6/49 game, your odds of winning the jackpot would be approximately 1-in-14-million. Now, let’s say that you buy 20 tickets in a 6/49 game by wheeling your numbers. What would that do to your odds of winning? It would better your odds to approximately 1-in-700,000. Technically, you bettered your odds of winning by using a lotto wheel system. But, if you were to have bought 20 quick picks instead of wheeling your numbers, your odds would still be the exact same – 1-in-700,000. So, what’s the difference between a lotto wheeling system and just buying more tickets? There is no difference because the odds are still the same, meaning that wheeling does not increase your odds of winning.
